This multi-purpose facility houses a 7,700 square-foot gymnasium, athletic facilities, offices, a computer room, and community use rooms. Committing to the City of Austin’s commitment to sustainability, the center was designed to meet USGBC LEED Silver requirements. Renewable materials, higher efficiency mechanical systems, and the orientation of the building all reduce the environmental impact of the building, increase the environmental and allow for lower operating costs. Circulation space throughout the building is used as a gallery for the display of art from members of the community.

Through a joint-use agreement with the AISD, students from the adjacent Overton Elementary School utilize the gymnasium and athletic spaces during the day. This symbiotic arrangement allows for reduced site disturbance and condensed parking, and will continue to be mutually-beneficial as both facilities grow.
