NEW CONSTRUCTION:  GSC Architects has served as JP Morgan Chase's primary architect for branches in west, south central, and southwest Texas and has designed over 25 inline branches and 6 non-prototypical free-standing branches ranging from 1,000 to 5,200 square feet. Additionally, GSC regionalized a national prototype to suit Texas climatic needs and various sites. This prototype has led to the design of over 130 freestanding branches. Standard services for each project included:  1- Due Diligence for each site, including environmental site assessments, surveys, code analysis, site feasibility and zoning, 2 -Coordination with adjacent landowners, 3- Construction Documents, 4- Construction Administration, including dry utility coordination, 5-Redesign of exterior facade for local design requirements/development criteria if needed.

Furthermore, GSC Architects was responsible for JP Morgan Chase's nationwide LEED® design, including options for Gold and Platinum branches. As a direct result, GSC has designed three LEED® Silver certified branch banks and one registered for LEED® with a certification goal of Silver.

RENOVATION:  GSC Architects has recently renovated 110 Chase Bank branches throughout Texas that had been acquired from Washington Mutual. One of the challenges of this extensive renovation project was the need to rebrand these buildings through architectural design, converting the previous image of the branches to harmoniously fit within the strict brand standards of JP Morgan Chase. GSC completed this vast renovation/rebranding project within 4 months, essentially completing one branch every twenty-six hours.

NEW WORK:  GSC has recently been awarded the contract to renovate 140 branches in Texas.
