Phase One was an 89,000-square-foot structure, which houses Nursing, Radiology, Surgical Technology, Dental Hygiene, Computer Studies Interactive Video Conferencing (IVC) for Distance Learning. Phase Two was a 57,000-square-foot addition that accommodates the remaining health programs to include Biotech, EMS, MLT, Occupational Therapy, Pharmacy Tech., Physical Therapy and Sonography.

Along with a pedestrian sky walk across a roadway connecting to an existing campus building, provisions were made for the future development of a community garden for continuing to foster a positive relationship between ACC and the existing neighborhood.

Encompassed within the project were not only two new buildings, but a natural wetlands, improvements to an existing waterway removing neighboring homes from a 100-year flood plain and, parking lots to alleviate congested neighborhood streets.
