The helistop at Round Rock Medical Center (RRMC) was designed to provide a more efficient response time in bringing patients to the hospital that need to be airlifted for treatment. The EMS Crew entered directly to a renovated Trauma Room through a alcove leading from the helistop.

As a Level III trauma center, the helistop greatly enhanced RRMC ability to provide emergency treatment for severely ill and injured patients.

This helistop and EMS Entry provided faster response times in bringing patients for treatment, and in some situations, getting patients to other healthcare facilities in the region.
