This Medical Office Building was designed to expand the capability of the Women and Children’s Hospital by providing clinic suites for seventeen physicians and their corresponding clinic and administrative staff on three floors. The careful study of the clinical areas with the common support areas for the practice groups and patients was crucial to the success of the integrated design.

To meet the accelerated schedule deadline, the design team used integrated design processes to make decisions quickly and accurately, utilized a streamlined communication system, and expedited the programming process to arrive at a finished project on time.

The design team incorporated careful space configurations in order to create individual spaces for the medical professionals, while allowing the tenants to utilize the open floor plan to receive natural light. The open feel of the medical office building enhances the sense of community among the doctors, cultivating an environment of healing and professional collaboration.
