The rapidly growing city of Urbandale, Iowa is the location of this new upscale CCRC. The site features fields gently sloping to Deerfield Creek and parklike areas bordered by single family residences.
With architecture reminiscent of a country manor house and adjacent cottages this phased project comprises 141 independent living apartments, 32 villas, 24 assisted living apartments and 30 nursing beds.
The three story manor house includes shared commons areas with windows opening to green hills in the distance. The building wings step down to 1 and 2 stories to be more in scale with the adjacent neighborhoods.
