Only 33 acres of this spectacular 100-acre site, overlooking Lake Austin, was master planned for the office development. The remaining 67 acres of this environmentally sensitive site is a bird sanctuary. Contrasting the modern architecture of River Place Pointe Executive Corporate Office Park with the natural beauty of the setting, the structures were sited on existing knolls to take advantage of multiple views. Three and four-story buildings, totaling 600,000 square feet were planned for the site. The sweeping main drive, at one point, uses a rotary to allow vehicles to access the underground parking and adjacent building. Working under stringent City of Austin and Hill Country roadway code limitations, the office park was supplied with high-tech amenities, such as fiber optics security and high transmission cabling.
